I want to stress a couple of ideas for sitting position. I'm noticing that a lot of students are dropping the neck of the guitar - check out Paul's old position:http://www.scottkritzer.com/Teaching/Video/Technique/LeftHand/OldSitting.jpg

Now compare this with Paul's new position:http://www.scottkritzer.com/Teaching/Video/Technique/LeftHand/NewSitting.jpg Paul's left elbow should be down, not 'winged out', (a result of playing with the neck lower). Try a C major Segovia scale - as you ascend feel the elbow pulling your arm down. As you descend feel that the hand is reaching up.

I'd recommend practicing the C scale with the neck down, then up and leave it at that. Do that for a week and you should be feeling the differentiation between the two positions, a key in learning this.

Also, notice Paul using a gitano to raise his guitar up, omitting the need for a footstool. I would highly recommend this!
