Well the unofficial jury is in; if you want strong nails try fish oil. My wife's nails, my nails and Karen's nails are showing more thickness and strength and I think this could very well be the reason why!

Are you eating it or smearing it on the nail? Just want to be sure. I use Health Hoof which is a smear it on the nail product.

Well I have now tried the fish oil and have to say it really works! My nails are harder than ever. There is an added bonus, although they are considerably less important than nails, the fish oil is also good for the heart and brain.

My opthamologist put me on fish oil pills last year to prevent styes. I knew I was getting potential heart benefits but I had not considered nail strength. Come to think of it I have not had any broken nails lately. Not the most pleasant burps though.
